Understanding the 9 Attributes of Salvation

Adoption means not just your name but your legal identity has been changed so that you become a rightful heir to the inheritance of your new Family.

Just as you bore the name of the first Adam through your human heritage so now you bear the name of the last Adam through your divine heritage. 1st Corinthians 15:45-50

Adoption means your natural parents (Adam and Eve) have terminated all their parental rights to you so that the effects of what they did can no longer be legally applied to you. This means the curse they received in the garden can no longer legally affect you.

Every tie you had to them has been permanently terminated.

You’re not legally responsible to bear the results of their actions any longer.

No more curse!

You now belong to a completely different family, with a different name, different identity, different heritage and a completely different future. Ephesians 3:14 -152nd Corinthians 5:17

Wow... What an awesome realization!

This means that when the devil comes to put sickness on you or your family members you can legally tell him to... STOP!!!

When he tries to steal your finances you can rebuke him and command him to return all your money to you, because he has no legal ground to stand on. He has to obey you. Matthew 18:18

This is why Jesus called Satan a liar and said he only came to steal, kill and destroy. John 10:10

This is also why Jesus declared, whatsoever we bind on earth is bound in heaven and whatsoever we loose on earth is loosed in heaven. Matthew 16:19

We now have the authority because of who we are... we are legally adopted Children of the King.

We are adopted by Jesus's Father as His own Children.

As far as our relationship with God is concerned everything Jesus has... we now have; everything Jesus is... we now are.

We are His brothers, Co-heirs of the Kingdom of God.

This is what Paul meant when he said, "I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come." Ephesians 1:16-22

Paul was praying for us to become fully aware of the new inheritance we have as God's legally adopted Children which includes the same power and authority that Jesus now wields as He is seated at the right hand of God.
